Tejeda said her roof caved in and she had to go to the hospital with minor injuries to her hand and head and said it was a miracle that she survived.
“The lamp and roof came down on my head and I have something on my arm,” Tejeda said. “I feel good because I have life, that's the thing.”
Other business owners told NBC6 that it was the restaurant's grand opening.
The extent of the injuries the other victims suffered is unknown.
Fire Rescue deemed the entire building unsafe.
